The New Moon in Virgo is a great opportunity to take a moment and look inward. We were energized by the courage and strength of Leo but now it’s time to get to work. Giving gratitude is a great way to pause, reflect, and dig deep in an honest way so you can open your life to the new possibilities ahead.
Giving gratitude is a practice that can be done daily. It doesn’t need a big ceremony or special day. The idea of giving thanks for all that you are, all that you have, and all that is around you is amazingly healing as well as enlightening.
Pause and give thanks for things in your life. Being grateful is an action that will create possibilities by opening your eyes to a new world.
The key to giving gratitude is to be honest. Be true to the words and thoughts of what you are grateful for in your life. Speak them internally or speak them out loud.
Many like to keep a gratitude journal. When you put pen to paper it is a different way to initiate your brain. I like to write so I prefer journals for everything but I know that many people do not like to write things down.
I love it when I go to write down something I am grateful for and it leads me on a long, winding, eye-opening train of thought that I didn’t know was in me. I don’t think I would have opened that up if I just said that one thing out loud or in my head.
Find the way that works for you. When you truly have gratitude in your mind and heart then the way you view the world changes so the your whole world opens up. You start to notice things that you otherwise would have missed.
And that is the beauty of gratitude. Start small and see how your thoughts create possibilities.
